My Sense of Place

My sense of place
is wherever my feet takes me to as it lingers and stands.
And with my trusty eye can see,
recording scenes of memories--
stored and shared with others for many years.

It is where I can find peace and tranquility;

Satisfying the curiosity of the seeker of knowledge.

My sense of place is a search for adventure.

a place to call sanctuary,
a tonic for the nerves,
a hearth where my loved ones are
with all its contrasts and changes.
